I think it’s a little odd for the government to levy a tax on an illegal activity. If they are going to do it then I’d feel better if they just targeted the pimps/madames. Doesn’t seem fair to arrest a prostitute, who under the best circumstances is merely a victim of exploitation, and then tell her she has to pay back taxes as well as face jail time.
