Sub didn’t use tape as restraint, lawyer says

So I open this story up, thinking that this should be good. And, oh, is it:

The teacher, whom Stamps declined to identify, had set a reward system in the fourth-grade classroom in which pupils were given pieces of Scotch tape in exchange for good behavior, Stamps said.

Kids love scotch tape!

I do agree with the attorney that scotch tape does seem like an odd choice of restraint, but duct tape isn’t commonly available in a fourth-grade classroom.

State considers new way to pick judges
