ALTHOUGH it’s still terribly hot — yesterday was the record-setting ninth straight day of triple-digit temperatures in Birmingham — some say it’s not so bad because the humidity isn’t so bad. One guy compares it to an oven, versus the usual sauna. I suggest that he sit in a sauna for a half hour, then sit in an oven for a half hour, and tell us which is worse.
