Bernard Kincaid made an offer for the city to buy the county’s 35 percent interest in the animal shelter two days after he lost the election. As Bettye Fine Collins points out, “Commissioner Langford” is still a member of the county commission, and she’s going to wait until the inauguration to make a decision. I think Larry should push for a vote in favor now, then come out against the purchase when he becomes mayor.
