Officer gets jail for killing dog- al.com

So this guy, a Bessemer cop, pulls up in front of his neighbor’s house (the story doesn’t say if he was in his squad car) and shot the neighbor’s dog. Just like that. He wasn’t put on leave, just given desk duty, but I’m guessing the month in jail will dictate that the city take a little more action.
