The arrest resulted from a five-month investigation by investigators Cortice Miles and Robert Slater… Police got a break in the case when a witness saw the tire slasher in action and called police.

So not only do you have a five-month investigation into the dreaded Bessemer Serial Tire Slasher… it fails, and you have to rely upon a witness seeing the guy at work.

He’s going to have the city’s legal department look into whether he has to pay any attention to the city’s legislative body. He probably should get some White House lawyers for that.
