The fish win for once

ConocoPhillips withdraws LNG proposal

While the need for this liquified natural gas plant is actually pretty great, it was questionable if the benefits (more energy) outweighed the cost (devastation of an already weak fishing industry). Riley claimed that he would veto any authorization of the plant, so the company withdrew its proposal and is investigating if it can build one without the “open-loop” reheating system which would have killed off wildlife.

Oh, is this still going on?

On 27th day, prosecution rests

I doubt that spending a month going on about the former governor’s alleged malfeasance is really the way to go. Juries get bored.
