Councilman charged with stalking- al.com

A Lipscomb city councilman is accused of stalking a trailer park manager who wouldn’t allow the Lipscomb police to keep putting up roadblocks at the park. The roadblocks were so that the Lipscomb police could continue their favorite activity of shaking down Hispanic residents. This is the second time in three years that the Lipscomb PD has been accused of this. Needless to say, I believe it; this town has been at it for a long time.

Even if it does rain — I maintain that we are going to have the climate of Bangladesh in the future, with most of the year bone-dry punctuated by monsoon conditions — the Birmingham Water Works says that its current reservoirs aren’t going to be enough in a couple of decades and they’ll need to find new sources. I like the giant underground storage facilities.
