City of Birmingham looking for companies to tap methane gas from two landfills- al.com
BMLL wants to tap a couple of landfills to gather methane gas. There is a certain amount of merit to this; however, the effort would take a huge initial investment towards a goal that may not be economically feasible.
Domeless?
They’ve been trying to build the freaking dome for twenty years now. The annual dome payments from the county commission, which started when I was in high school, run out at the end of this year, and Commission dictatrix Bettye Fine Collins wants to use the money they’ve been spending on the BJCC to pay off sewer debt. Pay off debt? Is she sure she’s a Republican?
