I can’t believe that this didn’t work

Birmingham schools hid the bad news: Report critical of system altered- al.com

Hiding bad report findings was such a great idea and all. I wonder what they were hiding.

In all, 20 findings – such as “no evidence of coordinated planning,” “no sense of urgency or energy,” “middle management bulge,” “inadequate financial analysis and reporting” – were missing from copies of the school system evaluation given to the public at a January school board meeting, and to the press.

Was “Just plain awful” on there?

The superintendent says that he was told to hide the bad parts of the report. The school board says that they didn’t tell him to. You would think that someone would get fired over this, but it’s the Birmingham school system, so probably not.
