India launches unmanned mission to moon – CNN.com

It’s been a long time since anyone even sent an unmanned probe to the moon. I expect that the place hasn’t changed much, but good for the Indians.

It has actually not been that long since the last unmanned mission to the moon ……. the *gasp* Chinese sent one in early 2007 and the Japanese in mid 2007. There *is* a world outside of the US …….

    Peace !! Out.

  2. What the Indians, Chinese and Japanese have demonstrated is their ability to precisely deliver packages by missile.

The world will come to the US.

No, what they have done through their moon mission are their ability to deliver and control packages in deep space. Ability to precisely deliver packages by missile has been demonstrated both by China and India through their missile programs long back; and those are separate from their space programs.

  4. it just shows, while our country is in economic turmoil, other countries are trying new things, prospering and and making technological breakthroughs. i really hope OBAMA/BIDEN wins this election so we can put this country on the right track and continue to stay ahead of the game instead of watching from the sidelines.

  5. Good job India, its developing and doing the right things, we have a strategic parternship with India.
