Well, it would give them a place to walk

Langford proposes city/county partnership to buy Century Plaza – al.com

BMLL wants to buy the Century Plaza mall (wow, I remember when it was the newest and best in the area, now it’s a dump) and convert it into a senior citizens’ recreation center. I don’t know if this is a good idea or not. I also don’t know how the county, broke as it is, figures in this.

We have an empty mall in Montgomery that no one is quite sure what to do with. It’s rather depressing.

  2. It would be a good place to train post-apocalyptic biker gangs.

  3. Hope they don’t do it until after the Junior League’s big sale in the old Belk Building in April. Not nice to kick out volunteer organizations.
